Durable
Laminate is created using numerous protective and decorative layers pressed together to create a surface indistinguishable from real wood. Since laminate is made of pressed wood, the surface is far more durable and easy to clean than a wood panel. This makes laminate an excellent choice for surfaces likely to experience wear and tear.
Timeless
Because laminate is incredibly durable, it is not unusual for laminate to last 3 - 5 years longer than hardwood.
HPl Substrates
Particle board, also known as chipboard, is an engineered wood product manufactured from wood chips or jute-stickchips and a synthetic resin or other suitable binder, which is pressed and extruded.
MDF is generally more dense than plywood. It is made up of separated fibres, but can be used as a building material similar in application to plywood. It is stronger, and more dense, than particle board.
Plywood is a material manufactured from thin layers or "plies" of wood veneer that are glued together with adjacent layers having their wood grain rotated up to 90 degrees to one another.
Lumber Banded Cores are an economical way to have a solid lumber edge while also minimizing end grain. Columbia Panel Mfg can provide you with lumber edges per your specification edge glued to particleboard, MDF, or veneer core.
Lumber Core consists of edge-glued strips of wood, usually basswood. On both sides of the core, there’s a cross banded veneer, then the face veneer. Lumber core is known for its superior screw holding capability, strength and rigidity.

Columbia Panel can band your product per your specification of either PVC or Veneer banding, or both. We can band any or all edges and have the ability to radius top, bottom, and corners with your desired veneer species. We have the capabilities to band 0.5mm up to 3mm banding
Our production capabilities are not limited to linear straight edges. Columbia Panel can band you’re your complex shapes also with either PVC or Veneer banding, or both.
